Workshops and Programmes
Here you will find information about all of the group workshops and self-help programmes currently on offer. You can choose between attending a facilitated group based workshop or a self-guided programme which you can do in your own time. Many people choose to try both methods to find out which one suits them best. All of the services listed here are free of charge to anyone living in Sandwell, or registered with a Sandwell doctor. Group Workshops and Programmes
The breathing space programme is a weekly course, lasting for four weeks.
The health improvement programme is a weekly group based course, lasting for eight weeks.
This is an eight week group based wellbeing programme especially developed to help individuals learn ways to cope with a long term health condition.
Programme is designed to help women who have received professional support for trauma.
This course is designed to help you manage your emotions on a daily basis.
Books on Prescription is a self-access service available at all Sandwell libraries through which you can borrow recommended self-help books.
Self-help CD programme that works by using relaxation, visualisation and self-hypnotic techniques. You can learn the mental tools to help increase relaxation, self-esteem, self-confidence, decision-making, goal setting, self-belief and problem solving.
